Product identity
Markdown to Image is an independently maintained Chrome extension. It keeps the workflow small: add Markdown, review the rendering, then export an image or open a full-page preview.
Why it exists
Markdown is often the fastest way to write release notes, README excerpts, technical updates, and structured notes. Sharing that content as a polished image should not require creating another account or uploading a private document to a developer-operated conversion service.
The extension is designed around that constraint. Rendering and export happen in the extension. The product does not operate an account, subscription, payment, advertising, or extension analytics service.
